PDSA141 - Cullinan

The incumbent will be required to develop and administer the functionality of Microsoft SharePoint. The
position is based in Cullinan (near Pretoria).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Develop and administer applications in order to ensure maximum availability of systems for effective information management 

Maintain and Monitor existing SharePoint sites 

Implement functional changes to the site 

Implement design changes to the site to enhance visual appeal 

Identify and implement improved navigation and site design 

Implement and maintain all out of the box functionality within Microsoft Office SharePoint Services 2010 

Ensure ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 requirements regarding document management are adhered to 

Manage data integrity 

Analyse the Company’s information needs and prepare necessary justification to make changes in systems to meet those
needs 

Assist with IT support functions

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 

Relevant National Diploma 

K2 Blackpeal Core, K2 Smart Forms Builder, K2 for SharePoint Application Builder 

MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010 (Application Development) 

MCTS: Configuring Microsoft SharePoint 2010 

MCITP: SharePoint Administrator 2010 

At least three years’ experience in SharePoint administration

Other Skills/Competencies: 

Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English 

Telephone etiquette 

Knowledge and application of IT principles, equipment and systems 

Proficient in SQL Server management tools, techniques, stored procedures and functions 

Strong organizational skills (planning, coordinating and prioritizing) 

Customer relations - ability to deal at all levels in the organization and with external customers
