Administrator: Management Support - Pretoria

The purpose of this position is to perform administrative tasks in support of departmental operations, including risk coordination and stakeholder management.

Detailed Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key performance areas:

· Engage in short term planning and perform tasks against work plans as defined with team leader/manager.
· Perform general administration in support of departmental operations including, but not limited to, business continuity planning, value-add services and records management.
· Perform administrative tasks in support of the department’s financial administration (invoicing) ensuring timely submission of accurate payment information.
· Support the Team Leader: Administration in his/her role as the department’s training, facilities, information communications technology (ICT) and fixed assets representative, ensuring effective management of departmental facilities requirements and resources.
· Assist in the coordination and facilitation of the risk management process for the department and maintenance of the department’s risk matrix.
· Engage effectively with stakeholders within and outside the department.
· Perform, on an ad hoc or projects basis, administrative duties as requested by team leader/management.
· Perform work independently within established practices, given processes, rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with standards, policies and other guidelines in executing own tasks.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of:

· a National Diploma in Business Administration (NQF 6) or an equivalent qualification; and

· one to three years’ experience in a relevant environment.
