Job Purpose

Assist with the overall management of Student Placement

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • At least 3 years’ experience with placement duties of students at residences in an institution of higher learning
  • Experience with working on an ITS or related student placement software system
Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities
  • Handling of Student applications
  • Selection of students
  • Drafting of waiting lists
  • Allocation of students
  • Capture of student allocation data
  • Opening and Closing of application circles
  • Running reports to do space Audit
  • Provide a list of selected and rejected students to Residence Coordinators
  • General administration and office operations
  • Record administration

  • Applied knowledge of MS Excel ,Ms Word and ITS
  • Interpersonal skills
