Customer Relationship Consultant - Polokwane

Management, development, cross sales and growth of sales of secure payment solutions to existing customer base, mostly in the micro finance industry. Customer Service and handling query resolution from origination to finalization. Development and maintenance of overall relationships with new and existing customers within the region. Maintain and grow existing customer base. Generate new sales leads in region and close leads or pass leads on to Sales Consultants for closing. Visit own and other customers in specified geographical area once within every call cycle (6 weeks). Handle customer queries and resolve in a timeous manner. Improve customer success rates by sharing industry knowledge and assisting with transactional management. Identify risks and put in place counter measures. Collect outstanding RD’s. Entertain and build relationships with customers. Process applications for additional business for existing customers and generate new sales leads. Assist with technical call outs when Technician is not available. Candidate will be trained to handle most of their own and other Delter & Altech NuPay installations within the Customer Relationship Department.

Job Requirements

Personal attributes: Excellent people skills, outgoing, passionate, dynamic, self-disciplined and a team player. Strong ability to work in a systematic, disciplined and organized manner. Good analytical skills required to examine situational data to extract the relevant information and identify the key issues in order to be able to service clients and cross-sell products. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Key behaviors required Influencing and Relationship building skills. Ability to sell ideas and Altech NuPay / Delter services and products to clients and gain their buy in. Has the ability to liaise at all levels of the customer’s organization with confidence. Completely committed to providing excellent client service. Time and territory management skills. Business knowledge and understanding. Minimum experience: Grade 12 minimum, B degree / Diploma preferred Excellent MS Excel skills a prerequisite MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills Code 08 driver’s license Own car At least 2 years’ experience gained in an external sales role in a service industry is preferred Knowledge of the micro finance industry and some working experience in this industry is preferred. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
