Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
Appropriate admissions experience.
Inherent requirement of the Job :
Willingness to work night shift and extended hours. Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Sound interpersonal and organising skills.
Computer literacy (Ms Word and Excel).
Experience in operating PHCIS/Clinicom systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Admit, register and discharge patients and handle all patient enquiries.
Accurate collection, safekeeping and deposit of state money.
Handle appointment system processes.
Ensure correct management of patient folders at reception areas and schedule appointments (new, follow-up and operations) on system.
Correct patient assessment and accurate data recording.
Support to Facility Manager and relief duties.
Provide Helpdesk assistance.
